What? I couldn't get past the big fat lie in the first sentence. Was there more? What that the EU mismanaged its deal with AZ like it probably has done with Pfizer? The EU Commission are unelected and unaccountable. We've dodged a bullet here and your evasiveness tells me you agree. It's nice to find common ground with you FH. Okay, so there's a hardcore of Brexit supporters who are in denial about the Belgian court decision. Those same people are also in denial about the fact that polls show that the majority now regret Brexit. Big deal! It was expected.

Well dear Bubbles, since i live in the EU and you dont, and the subject is very clearly about what the EU is doing and does not involve where you live in any way, i suggest you take your own advice and post about what you know something about and what concerns you. That should reduce your input substantially. If you don't want posters to post topics in the EU forum about the EU, I suggest you ask the mods to shut this part of the forum down Kimmy. Until that happens you can Foxtrot Oscar. Oh and don't forget to pay your covid bill. Secretly negotiated on your behalf of which you are not allowed to scrutinise. My dear Bubbles if you want to post in the EU section of this forum, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. As in any other issue, none of the general electorate is told the details of ongoing discussions about the spending of communal funds. You are not told of the minutes of for example the spendung budget in education until it is agreed. The details of the contracts between the EU and vaccine suppliers are currently ongoing. So since no conclusion has been reached, and nothing about them affects you other than your obsessive need to troll, you might find more fertile ground elsewhere. Do another round of your bowl though i admit, you look equally ridiculous from any angle.

The EU ombudsman and MEP's aren't even privy to the contract that has already been negotiated with Pfizer according to the Commission. You seem to struggle with the basics Dim and have made up out of thin air the opinion, misguided as it is that contract negotiations are ongoing. You should follow your on advice little miss bossy boots.

It's time the Commission was abolished and replaced with an elected cabinet.

It's time the Commission was abolished and replaced with an elected cabinet. No word of complaint from Vinny about the fact that unelected common law judges make laws in the UK that effect people on a much deeper level (family law (access to children), criminal laws that see people deprived of their liberty, etc. And that supposes that the Commission even makes laws. It doesn't. But if it did, they wouldn't be as far-reaching as those made by the unelected common law judiciary.

Vinny et al have a huge misconception of who makes laws in the EU. The council defines the aims and objectives of the next five years. The commission writes them up and checks their legalities in all membes' constitutions and laws. Then each proposal is voted on or ameded three times by directly elected representatives. It is NOTHING like a cabinet which designs laws, defined by the civil service and voted on by that cabinets majority in Parliament under the whip.
FFS if you must obsessively discuss the EU at least know what you are talking about.

Maybe you can give us an insight as to why the EU Commission are able to with hold the details of how EU members' citizens money has been spent without handing them over to the EU ombudsman or MEP's to scrutinise? And when I mean insight, I mean something you haven't imagined and made up on the cuff as a sorry excuse.

LOL!!! I see you're happy to overlook the fact that judges aren't accountable or democratic. Have a word with your gammon friends about these 'qualified' judges. They're starting endless threads about 'Lefty' judges. Glad to see you're not just another Daily Mail chav who supports headlines calling judges traitors, Bubbles.
