Bancroft - yes. I might later change it to a pic of Orac. However, it's hard to find a flattering photo of it. Brilliant, still have the series transferred on to disc. Am I missing something I thought there was a Welsh actor in the lead role and he is not in the picture. I must confess I did not watch it. Overtime and family tended to get in the way.

Overtime and family tended to get in the way. Gareth Thomas who played Blake got the hump when he was refused directing later episodes and said he didn’t like where it was going and left.

Blake - Gareth Thomas came back for a finale. I think it was good the series continued. Orac did you like La Femme Nikita series, don't think it was shown in the UK, I watched it for a while in NZ. Never watched the whole thing yet it seemed interesting.

The country is littered with these sorts of provocations intended by the identity group concerned to communicate their sense of entitlement. Like this one in Bristol:
I think Bristol is more multi-cultural than Bexhill-on-Sea that looks like a BLM commemorative. thats the bitch who got off the criminal damage charge

I still reckon Gareth Thomas’s finest hour in sci-fi was his part in the Torchwood Episode ‘Countricide’ and there are no typos in the word there. The Torchwood team are sent to investigate strange deaths disappearances etc in a village in the middle of nowhere … Thomas is the local man they first meet He’s also the mad axe murdering psycho behind the killings His last line in the episode is ‘of course it was me. What ? Don’t tell me you actually believed it was aliens …..’ The perfect sendup of a series that worked because it never took itself seriously.

Ned, do you think a huge sculpture of a white person would ever be placed in a predominantly black area? Say the same sculpture that appeared in Bexhill, appeared in Slough or Newham, in white. What do you think the reaction would be? I do realise it's a nonsense question because it would never happen. To place such a statue in an area of high black density would be seen as horrific racist provocation, and no doubt the riots would continue until the statue was removed and the prime minister made a public apology in which the inevitable inquiry would be announced. And people say Enock was a racist for saying "the black man will have the whip hand". I'm not bothered about all the faux outrage. I was merely commenting on the artwork. I like it, and as Colbops suggests, I'd be happy to have it looking out onto the North Sea near me, rather than to the Channel, if the people of Bexhill are so enraged. Not very good is it ? Looks more like something you would see in a theme park than a cultral statement (if thats what its supposed to be ) for the people of Bexhill . I reckon the boat people have been told to use it as a reference for where to land , apparently the locals have been complaining about gangs running through their back gardens in attempt to escape having to claim asylum on their way to their jobs in the City . The local prison is also being used as a reception centre after much opposition from residents with the council it seems sitting on the fence at the time they have now shown their true colours in allowing the statue www.sussexexpress.co.uk/news/people/residents-vent-fury-at-east-sussex-asylum-seeker-site-public-meeting-4121130
