That raises a point that many left wingers supported the USSR long after it was known about the atrocities that occurred there . Posting an image of a newspaper that is 90 years old ? Really ? Lefty desperation at its best mate. Lefties tend to over use Godwins law at the moment. They impress each other by using that fallacy and claiming that they didn’t .

You do know that the Mail is the least trusted newspaper amongst Tory voters, don't you? So which part did they get wrong?

After doing some research, we find that the family of Ali were friends of the family of the newly elected Mayor Arooj Shah, and that Shah and Ali had known each other since childhood.
Clearly, they went their separate ways, one becoming involved in criminality and crime, and Shah went into politics.
I WILL AGREE that it would be unwise for Shah to associate with such people, however, in her defence she stated this after been asked by a BBC journalist about damage to her reputation.
(Arooj Shah) "Of course it does, I get that completely and I get people's concerns but like I've always said, I want to be judged by my own actions and my own conduct," she says.
"I'm not responsible for people, but at the same time, rehabilitation is the law of this land.
"I think a society is stronger when that happens and for me, doing what ultimately is right to do is probably the most difficult to do.
"You can't forget people that you've grown up with [or] family associations."

You do know that the Mail is the least trusted newspaper amongst Tory voters, don't you? Are you photographs is not real or the people in them are not the ones claimed by the mail? Not at all, my point is people need to take the Mail with a certain amount of scepticism, they like to 'manipulate' the truth is such a way to suit their needs.

Smelt it and dealt it come to mind on these forums in recent days.
Accusations, smears and one-line asides without backup or even entertainment value just clog the threads and change no one's views...

Look at the avatar of the person who posted after you posted the above. It was The Squeezed Middle. I would have thought that an avatar featuring a politician in Nazi uniform was as good an example of Godwin's Law as there can be. Is Squeaky a lefty now? Just ridiculous!
