Ignoring the worst PM Margarete Thatcher, ensures your laughable list must be the most laughable list ever. Why is she the worst? When Edward Heath was PM there was a three day week, power cuts, massive problems. John Major took us into the ERM and caused Black Wednesday. You can draw a line from his policies on the EU, the Maastricht Rebellion and our referendum in 2016. If he'd given us the vote on the Maastricht Treaty, we'd probably still be in the EU. Lack of consultation is a recipe for rebellion. Tony Blair bombed the shit out of other countries without achieving anything positive. Gordon Brown's deregulation of the banks backfired spectacularly in 2007. And oh my God what a farce Liz Truss was. 49 days of total shambles.
1. Spare me the need to list her faults again. 2. Heath was hit by the oil crisis. 3. It is recognised that Major left an improved economy when he left office. 4. Blair had to deal with the mess left by Thatcher including two big black holes where state education and the NHS should have been. He was right to follow UN res. 1441, he ended genocide by the Serbs, and followed the UN and the Arab league in the desire to help the Arab spring in Libya and to s stop Gaddafi killing Libyan citizens. (Got his fingers burnt there.) 5. Brown was hit by an IFM THAT NO ONE FORCAST, he was also influenced by the incessant call from the Tories and industrialists to cut red tape. But no meltdown then no real problems for Brown.

Even though I have spelt it correctly many times before, but I don't mind being human capable of the occasional mistake. I don't normally pull posters up, I make typos, but in your case you have a habit of pointing out other posters mishaps, don't want you to feel left out. I have never called anyone out for spelling mistake, the only thing I can think of is for correcting someone for quoting me out of context. So I don't know what you are referring to.

1) How is she the "WORST"?
2) Heath took us into the EEC without a referendum, and also mismanaged the miner's strike in 1974. Despite large stocks of coal, there were power cuts 4 times a week. He recognised the military dictatorship in Chile and befriended Augusto Pinochet long before Maggie became mates with the far right bastard. He was also a friend of Jimmy Savile who used to go to Jersey with the man.
3) Kenneth Clarke left an improved economy. But we're discussing John Major, not the Chancellor of the Exchequer. John Major had opportunities to interene in the Yugoslav civil war, the Rwandan Genocide etc and didn't. he did fuck all for our democracy and along with his friend Michael Heseltine caused such political upset that the Maastricht Rebellion happened.
All he had to do to avoid it was hold a referendum on the Maastricht Treaty. That was too difficult for John Major.
4) As PM Blair ignored genocide in Chechnya, befriended Putin and bombed Iraq for fucks sake. Dishonest hypocritical bloodstained bastard he is.
5) Gordon Brown was warned years in advance about rising levels of personal debt and also state debt. He was warned by his economist Ruth Lea that his economic policies would end in tears, instead of listening he sacked her.
The housing market overheating was another sign that a crash would happen. Instead of listening he just kept repeating his "no return to boom and bust" bluster and presided over one of the biggest busts in modern political history.
The silly bastard also signed the Lisbon Treaty without a referendum despite overwhelming calls for one.
He insulted one of his voters and then went grovelling to win back her vote instead of just saying, "I meant what I said. Back me or sack me."

And the lying prick told us we were joining a trading block rather than the truth.

These are really worthless debates as people can't see through their blinkered view. Both Thatcher and Blair are both best or worst PMs in various people's opinion.
