King Charles has Black ancestry ... from Queen Charlotte, the wife of George III. She was described by her physician as having "A true mulatto face". Her presence in the Royal Family is said to have inspired the anti-slavery movement. Portraits of her did not "play down" her "African features". She was clever, amongst the most scientifically-minded of British Queens, and surrounded herself with serious thinkers. She may have influenced George not to allow the expansion of the American British colonies into Indian territory (much to the annoyance of people like George Washington). If George had had his way Britain would have engaged in formal political alliances with the Indian nations and set up trading links with them. That way the resources of these nations would have become available to Britain without conflict. Prior to the Revolution Washington had engaged in clandestine surveying of Indian territory with a view to occupying it.

Well it seems to be a theory that may have a few legs of possibilities in there. We have to ask though does it matter. If there is any problem with a Royal line being all over the place then we would have seen to correct the Royal lines long ago but where they stand in the line is what counts. Methinks that the one Queen who may have had a bit of black blood is presented as the cleverest and the most humane of all the Royals is a bit of propaganda. If it does matter, and it seems to be important to many, why would that be the case? Most people go by the look test as the lady in question did by a brief look at the faces on the balcony, heritage was immaterial, what people looked like was all that counted.

Who was that racist black woman? Not Esther Krakue btw, she is not only a babe but talks common sense. I'm talking about the silly cow on the BBC. Apart from being racist she's obviously bloody ignorant. It was the royal family on the balcony, how many black people does she think are in the royal bloody family. She is a typical ignorant racist with a huge chip on her shoulder but it's OK because she's black, and how unlike the BBC to give someone like that a platform. Answering my own question: The racist who said the royal balcony was terribly white, is a black woman called 'Adjoa Andoh' which to someone who speaks Anglo Saxon is pretty unpronounceable. But hush my mouth, she is black and like the vast majority of people in this once great country, I'm white, which in 21st century woke minority appeasing UK means, I have no voice.

Washington helped Britain conquer India as an officer in the British army. edit, you didn't mean that kind of Indian did you?

A long way from ' Charles has black ancestry' . None of the royal houses of Europe from which our Royals come indicate any black people in their linage

The opening post and title of this topic is 100% false
The BBC did not criticise the "all white balcony"
A person on the BBC criticised the all white balcony - which is totally different to the false accusation
As our state broadcaster, the BBC has to present all views and opinions
More bull shit from out of date right wing conspiracy theorists

On the Kings Coronation day the BBC gave two black people who are well known for their anti Empire opinions a platform to gob off. FFS man wake up.

But no one did apparently so all views were not represented, valuing diversity was represented but not questioned.

It's odd how they want to cancel out our history, and replace our historic figures with black faces, which tells you they admire our history and our historical figures, why else would they keep wanting to portray them, so really it's down to jealousy and envy, there is no other conclusion you can reach.
