As pointed out here … these NDE’s are very common, shared across history and cultures … and often give the recipient a heightened consciousness of experience that goes far beyond what their Earth Life has given them.

Three years ago I got got very seriously ill to the point that my surgeon told my wife to prepare for the worst. But I survived with some problems including aphasia. A near death experience? Certainly not in my case. I was completely unaware of anything. I had no recollection of whether it was days or months. Eventually I got back home and my wife told me the tale after the event. I had no idea about any of that. No death experience. |

As with Hammond’s experience … (👍, Magrathea) … not quite the NDE experience some have collectively described above. … Take the cold water drowning event in the OP … this didn’t involve hospital drugs … morphine etc … people might try and brush this drowning away saying “natural endorphins” secreted in a panic situation …. but how much secretion takes place in extreme cold situations when blood flow slows and you relax and drift into a hypothermic coma? Hammond’s wife literally screaming at him not to die and leave her in this way … might show the power of ‘prayer’?? … could it have brought him back? … what is more of a ‘miracle’ in Hammond’s case … was how well his faculties were restored on his return. … considering the frontal lobe damage. [ Comment: I can imagine the guilt, stress and torment some of the producers of Top Gear went through …. when this crash happened. …. and the effect on Clarkson and May suddenly realising these producers were sometimes putting them in life-threatening situations … just for entertainment/chasing international ratings. ….. I would say it is in the same league. Btw - i was quite moved by his account, not because of the detail of his wife, because of the genuine and grounded bearing he transmitted while telling it. He is not someone i have paid attention to and yet it seems to me he deserved some. I hear he was so badly injured that his active memory was reduced to 15 minutes. Yet he is still here and smiling and making meaning. I think the experience triggered something in him. |

So why didn't I have a near death experience? ….Because … as the grey alien said in the CIA/Military interview under torture in my Roswell thread … “Death is just a human construct” … (in much the same way TIME is) …. who knows? … maybe you weren’t close to “transitioning” ? … just in a temporary coma? When I said these NDE’s were happening all over the World … many won’t get a warm Heavenly welcome filled with loving embraces from a Jesus figure in white and smiling dead relatives. …. some might experience a warmer welcome of a different more painful ‘eternity’ … or be stuck in another multiverse limbo time loop …. a living Hell where they learn over and over the bad moments of their last visit doing the ‘Earth Trip phase’ of Soul Development. Personally, I don’t think people need to have a NDE to rethink how they’re behaving and turn their life around … Hammond came back from the brink … but still continued to do Top Gear … because in amongst all that Soul Searching … God (the Soul-sorter?) obviously thought broadcasting forthright opinions on fossil fuel-guzzling cars and commenting on the behaviour of humans of different qualities around the World …. making people laugh and entertaining them … was a very worthwhile thing. Here is a Near Death Experience that is interesting … Some say the endorphins the brain produces in these moments of crisis generate a hallucinogenic experience …. but surely independent persons wouldn’t be inducing v. similar experiences that are so closely linked?? (P.S. This video should be shown in schools as a ‘safety film’ … kids/adults … don’t jump into freezing water without a wetsuit and others nearby to help you - in case your body and senses shut down). Nothing new just a lack of blood and oxygen to the brain. Its a daily occurence for fighter pilots. They can cut down the time of this by straining as tho they are taking a dump and if they are lucky it only last for a short period of time that can seem like an eternity. Oh and BTW there are kids in Canada and the USA who have survived going through the ice and being submerged for for long periods. Google it you will be surprised. |

We are already aware of oxygen/brain starvation effects and how humans shut down in cold water but miraculously recover … not all these experiences result in a NDE that illuminates the Meaning of Life/crossing into another dimension of consciousness … and the possible explanation of the mechanism of reincarnation.
