These Extinction odd balls like just stop oil are well connected, most of them come from wealthy backgrounds, when they get court one of their connections has a word in the right ear, and they are basically given a slap on the wrist, that's why they are cocky and continue with their mayhem. The law is going soft, it's all about the rights of the criminals, and the victims of crimes are hung out to dry.

How are old tyres harmful to the environment? Tyres are not biodegradable. They are made of rubber, which is composed of 70% petroleum; steel, textile fiber, and chemicals and mineral oils such as sulfur, zinc oxide, and carbon black.

You are correct and have just nullified this post. They cannot avoid 'oil based' product' until we globally stop using them. So what's the point of them bugging me, you and innocent drivers by holding up motorways, do you honestly think that oil producers are going to stop producing oil because some halfwit has held up the M25?
If these just stop oil want to make a point they are targeting the wrong people, and they know it. If they really meant business they should start protesting outside oil refineries, and leave the rest of us innocent 'victims' alone.
