The two men who claimed the Dartford Bridge stopping traffic for two days before being brought down , have today been found guilty. they could possibly be jailed for up to ten years, very unlikely for that long
Morgan Trowland, 40, and Marcus Decker, 34, were both found guilty of causing a public nuisance today (April 4) after they used ropes and other climbing equipment to scale the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge in October. Prosecutor Adam King said that police closed the bridge, which links the M25 in Essex and Kent, to traffic and that drivers were forced to use the tunnels instead.
The two had begun scaling the bridge during the early hours and eventually reached to around 200ft above the water. They were removed by specially trained officers who were trained on a specialist raised platform at a nearby fire station before it was brought to the bridge.

The stupid thing is that despite their stupid efforts they'll have no effect on any decisions being made.

If anyone died through not being able to get to hospital, sentence the lot to life.

No matter how much they may fine them it will not inconvenience them that much they will probably ask their supporters to donate cash to help pay it, if they don't pay or can't pay they will end up in Prison for none payment of fines they are prepared to to Prison anyway, they have cost the taxpayers a fortune already , let alone the misery and anguish they caused to the public and delivery companies it cost one company over £100,000

If I remember correctly little or no damage was caused to them as they were protected by screens, they have cost some companies many thousands of pounds for the damage they casued by smashing large plate glass windows and doors with hammers

People do realise that getting arrested, convicted and fined/prison is a badge of honour for people trying to get someone to do something about the state of the planet.
