If you're not looking to get another job then of course you won't be concerned about wage compression via the importation of cheap foreign labour - especially if it makes it easier to buy your Tuscan villa. I would say this forum contains a representative cross section of society, we have well educated and well travelled members, we have those of different religious beliefs and backgrounds and we have the deranged.
If we look at the top of our computer screens we see that 75% (at the time of posting) voted No to rejoining the EU, I think that this would read across society in general, so this particular thread has no purpose. The majority of people voted to leave and haven't changed their minds, so the insults, fabricated reasons to rejoin and the general grumpiness means nothing at all.

Accept that the when the old farts have snuffed it the young ones who voted to remain will be further down the road to be old farts . So, you and your Gammon peers on this forum were in favour of the EU when you were younger? You must have been if you're suggesting that people generally change their minds from what they once believed as they get older. I'm finding it hard to envision the young Jonksy and Fairy wrapped in an EU flag. I voted in Ted Heaths referendum to stay in the common market. I guess it's no surprise that the EUphiles rely on methods that were rife in the former Soviet Union and Communist China. Next they'll be insisting on reporting parents and preventing them from taking up teaching roles for failing to love the EU. I'd hate to see what happens during wartime.
