This Tory Minister called it right on Starmer
Sir Keir Starmer is the “wettest Labour leader” on crime in history, a Tory minister has claimed.
Chris Philp said Mr Starmer’s record on crime is “absolutely appalling”. The policing minister even said Mr Starmer’s record is worse than his predecessor Jeremy Corbyn, who the Conservatives also described as “soft on crime”.
Mr Philp said: “When you look at how Keir Starmer has behaved and how his Labour party has voted in parliament that’s why I say he’s the wettest Labour leader on crime we’ve seen.”

His reasoning - "fraud is not a real crime" which is understandable since the Conservatives commit so much of it. |

The Crime rate was at its highest in the mid 1900's, it has been falling since then, to day Theft is down 20% since 2020 Fraud is down Robbery, 21% sexual offences has risen by 22% , I know virtually nothing about Chris Philips or if he did or did not say " Fraud is not a real crime"
So how do you figure or claim that Conservatives commit much of it ? a fact that you can prove or your imagination at work again ?
Fraud by the way if a good one can take years to uncover, ask the DWP some people have been reaping Benefits for years by Fraud, as when discovered they change their names and addresses again , then find a new way to cheat the system
