No it is a psychological mindset it doesn't have a wing as such. Which is why they all vote the same way on major neo liberal policy. We have just seen it with Covid and several other psychological policy's. But you said it's about less government control and less social welfare. That doesn't sound left wing. In fact, it sounds very right wing. Left-wing is all about more Government control - take it to it's limit and you have Communism which is total Government control over everything.

Do you think that Sheepy understands the meaning of the word neo-liberalism? He is of the opinion that it refers to the Left, and covers things such as the so-called Woke agenda. If you think he understands the meaning of neo-liberalism, can you provide a link to support his position?

Yes, you've said. I'd like to see some support for your position, if you have it. Well the bad news is, it is all around you, how many times for instance does the world economy get mentioned in a day? Or the worlds climate? why do we need a World Economic Forum? Sheepy, you've misunderstood what the word neo-liberal means. Your posts can be very confusing. It takes quite a lot of work to understand what you are trying to say. It would be a courtesy to the rest of us if you would at least try to use words in a way we can understand. That means using words in the way that everyone else uses them. Neo-liberalism is a word that is used in connection with politicians like Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Regan. It is not applied to the Left. Your spelling and grammar already present formidable obstacles to understanding what you mean. None of us is perfect in these respects. But things become impossible if incorrect language is used repeatedly.

No I haven't you have, it isn't left or right like you think everything political is, it is a psychological political attack, where you argue over what should be in your mind as left and right, but in actual fact it is a single party state with a one world goal. Now it is my fault because you cannot grasp that so I have become the enemy because I have dared question your belief of surface political views. They have even politicised the weather, your health and sport. When you can grasp just a little of it, we can move onto the worldwide political psychological cults they have formed on the back of it, Where you don't have a clue what gender is or don't see a point in being alive unless you can change the weather.

It's a word you use frequently; you might want to reconsider that.

Not totally true ^^^ (imagine you posting porkies tut tut), but just as bad as allowing the wealth of the very rich to influence Conservative politics and help maintain the overrated Tories in office.

No I said that was the latest definition. Just like woke is lefty policy, it isn't it is neo liberalism. Left would be a Harold Wilson type. Among others, which no longer exists. I've always understood neo-liberalism to be right-wing ideology. I'd love to know where you got your definition. Do you have a link? You are correct, Neo Liberalism is right-wing. The liberalism referred to is the freeing up of the markets and of finance allowing the wealthy to indulge in a money grab.

Champagne socialist is a political term commonly used in the United Kingdom. It is a popular epithet that implies a degree of hypocrisy, and it is closely related to the concept of the liberal elite. The phrase is used to describe self-identified anarchists, communists, socialists and liberals whose luxurious upper class or "preppy" lifestyles, metonymically including consumption of champagne, are ostensibly in conflict with their political beliefs.

Champagne socialist refers to people on the left; neo-liberalism refers to people on the right. Where's the problem?

Nope "Champagne socialist" is a piece of right-wing propaganda designed to help people like yourself to avoid reasonable debate by preferring to use the typical right-wing weapons of lies insults and insinuations without which they would be lost. New Liberalism is what Thatcher picked up from Pinochet.
