You really have got it wrong, I am only too happy to see the back of this corrupt shower, if you can find a replacement party that is able to pursue independence by properly presenting a workable plan and way forward then good luck to you.
The reason Sturgeon is detested in England has nothing to do with independence ( we are not bothered) it is her racist bigotry shrill anti English bashing, that is why we are gleeful at the prospect of a long custodial sentence for her.
I really do wish Jaydee was here to offer his/her/their thoughts.

I dont have anything wrong om. I couldnt care less who likes or dislikes sturgeon or in what country. Neither could the majority of scots.
She , her husband and her wee clique , for reasons unknown to us all ( for the minute) have been a barrier to scottish independence for the last 9 years since salmond resigned and she assumed office. She has wasted mandate after mandate , fluffed her shot with the open goal that was brexit , tried to stitch her former friend and party leader salmond up and failed miserably , and now as you can see has left the snp a burning trainwreck .
I couldnt give a fuck wether or not englands kippers and brit nats are dancing with delight in the streets over sturgeons fall from grace. Im interested in the reasons behind her departure , and why she has done all the things she has to the detriment of the indy movement.
This is all rather reminiscent of the fall of the great charles parnell and the end of the old irish party ,and their subsequent replacement by sinn fein and ultimatley irelands independence.

It's hardly surprising that when Rudolf Hess flew to Britain, he chose Scotland to fly to, thinking the Scots would be more sympathetic, more ready to negotiate.

Labour costs in eastern Europe are far cheaper.
Manufacturers would leave.

You would resume the industrial demise of Scotland.
And you would hand the keys of policy making to the EU so you could do nothing about it.
