Does the nature of the AfG matter (and I agree they have links to the far right) in relation to the point being made?
Seems to be just more a 'shoot the messenger' type of argument..

True enough, but wasted.
The likes of See2, AndrewBrown and srb7677 will always vote to betray the UK.
That is an unbelievably nasty dishonest slur, do you think it is only dishonest misguided individuals like yourself who would fight to save this country? The real men and women in this country would likely be saving the hides of the likes of you and or your ilk if war came about. I did have some respect for many of your posts but it seems that I might have been misreading them. I wouldn't worry about him. He has a big mouth which often spouts mere self-interested rubbish. And as a supporter of Boris Johnson he himself has already voted to betray everything that is decent about the UK.

If people whose politics are truly obnoxious and extremist come out in support of something, this tends to weaken or give cause to question that thing amongst more reasonable people. After all it automatically begs the question that if this thing is so good, why are people like that supporting it? Support from extremists tends to undermine any cause in the eyes of reasonable people. Quoting them in support of a cause merely looks desperate and tends to make more moderate people question it more. Some are just too stupid to realise that.

Just as calling someone a Nazi without substantiation shows a reluctance to provide evidence.

I am still interested in which policies make this man leader of a neo-fascist party. Some seem determined to make that accusation yet reluctant to say how they reach that conclusion. Anyone? It has been widely reported to be such by much of the media and is known to have links with far right groups. It is under surveillance by the German state as an extremist party. As a start, you will find much basic information here.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternative_for_Germany#:~:text=Alternative%20for%20Germany%20%28German%3A%20Alternative%20f%C3%BCr%20Deutschland%2C%20AfD%3B,Euroskepticism%2C%20it%20also%20opposes%20immigration%20to%20Germany.%20 The true nature of this party and information about it is not hard to find if you want to look. Yes I understand what is said about them, I was asking what policies that were detailed in the previous link made them neo-Nazi. I looked through their policies and could not find anything that indicated a neo-Nazi stance although it was largely a skim. The only area was as regards Islam that could be construed as some form of racism but that is always subjective. The rest seemed fairly sensible, slightly populist, but then policies that err on the side of the public are often so described.

It appears as though they are fascist because those who oppose them say they are as no one seems willing to point out where the neo-Nazi policies are.
