After the tragedies with Jo Cox and David Amess any form of on line threats should be treated with utmost seriousness, I think 18 months was in fact rather a light sentence for that particular event.
However, that must not mean that freedom of speech in other matters should be curtailed, we know the Scots take pleasure in their new hates laws, whereby someone criticising anyone in the SNP in their own home can have their doors kicked in and be dragged off to the nick, that is what that idiot Usauf has managed to achieve.

Scottish separatism was born out of a deep and extreme hatred of the English.
A desire to be rid of English politicians. English people who have made Scotland their home face racist abuse from Scottish separatists.
When it's World Cup time and Scotland aren't competing the Scottish separatists always support whoever is against England.

Also attempts to conflate the SNP with Scottish Nationalism whilst being part of an anti-English party that wants to be governed by Brussels.
Personally, I just think it's a tool to balkanise and that it has little intention of gaining independence.
