Your own psts prove to the contrary lefty.....We have heard it all before by the closet remnants... Ah yes. I forgot you think that anyone who is not an insane Tory is at least a mad left winger who will open gulags to house the unfaithful. Can you give us a viable alternative? You have been asked enough times?

That the point though, it doesn't matter what or who you think you have voted for, it will be same thing, constantly, which someone cottoned on yesterday, an attack on everything you actually believed was right. A vote for a very twisted logic is what you will get. Note how the usual remnants never mention the FACT that we are about to join the biggest trading bloc on the globe and do not have to pay £9 billion a year for the privileedge. Well you just let me know when that comes about and we start getting the benefits. Then I might just agree with you. I do hope it's not like all the other benefits we were told we were going to get, still on some distant horizon far, far away.

Well oddly enough, I used to be an ardent Brexiteer. However I naturally assumed that our leaders and the EU would arrange a deal which was beneficial to both parties. However, the numpties made a complete fuck up of the whole thing with their childish carry ons, your Boris's "oven ready" deal which wasn't even half baked and petty "ner ner ner" squabbles. Seeing the continuing results of this nonsense I, like millions of other reasonable sensible people changed my mind and decided we would be better off staying or rejoining. I'm still waiting for one, just one, Brexiteer to tell us of the huge benefits we have gained. If you could explain the promised benefits of our regained "sovereignty " which isn't in some distant fairy land far, far away, it would be a help. Meanwhile perhaps you could explain why so called sensible people persist in supporting the known liar and bribe taker Johnson. P.S. "Things would be so much worse under Labour." is not a known fact. It's pure speculation. Perhaps you'd like to tell us what more would get worse under Labour. Your own posts prove to the contrary lefty.....We have heard it all before by the closet remnants... I've known Morgan for a long time and he was indeed seriously in favour of Brexit. I think he probably still is if he could see even a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. Instead we've had a series of hopeless prime ministers and MPs who don't have a clue and we also had those who wanted to sabotage leaving. Even before the referendum I wanted us to leave without a deal. It may have made things difficult but it may not have but the seven years since we left would have been ample time to get back on an even keel; we're still not there and that's coming from someone who was and still is in favour of Brexit. Come the next election the best plan is to not vote for any of the mainstream parties, the alternatives couldn't possibly be any worse that what we have or what we'd get from the mainstream.

I'm minded not to bother voting next time (or indeed ever again). The only thing that might change my mind is online lefties and listening to James O'Brien. Too much of either and I'll definitely be voting Tory. As ever of course.

Brexit still not going so well then? It's a good job we took back control of our own borders innit? Brexit's just fine - it's given us exactly what we wanted. That's Stage 1.
But while we've dispensed with the EU knobbery we're still stuck with the home grown variety. Sorting that will be stage 2.

Brexit has given us the freedom to vote for who and what we want. Unfortunately, the choices are currently all the same.

Leading Brexiteer slams 'utterly incompetent' Home Office over record asylum backlog Story by Max Parry • 3h ago Leading Brexiteer Richard Tice has hit out at the "utter incompetence" of the Home Office, after it was revealed that the UK has a record backlog of asylum seekers. Besides criticising the Home Office, the Reform UK leader repeated his call for a new department to be set up to deal with the crisis and referenced the recent unrest outside a hotel in Knowsley, Merseyside, where asylum-seekers were being housed.
He told Express.co.uk: "Utter incompetence at the Home Office has led to this appalling situation, where the fury of concerned communities is spilling out onto our streets. The former MEP suggested a specialist government department be set up to combat the escalating migrant crisis and asylum backlog, which has now climbed over 160,000 - the highest figure since comparable records began. "The Home Office is not fit for purpose and a new Department of Immigration is urgently needed staffed by competent believers in controlling our borders", he said. This comes as it emerged the most common nationality of asylum seekers in the backlog is Albanian.
