During a visit to my brother he showed me a dismantled bike in his shed and asked me if I thought it was worth reassembling. Later in the day I noticed a Spiritualist Medium was giving a demonstration of her abilities in the town and went along. When she focused on me a puzzled look came over her face and she said: "I'm getting imagery of bicycle parts?"
A month after we met my girlfriend and I decided to get married. She was in her mid-20s, I was in my mid 50s. Shortly after we'd arranged the marriage I took her to a Spiritualist Church. When the Medium focused on us he smiled and said: "I'm hearing wedding bells".

Medium's often give talks before they "perform" ... which can be very profound. One medium said: "Can't you see there's something wrong? All these hospitals you're having to build?" I then saw her change from a grey-haired, middle-aged woman into a young man wearing colourful medieval clothing.
On another occasion the medium, again middle-aged, changed into a young woman as I gazed at her. She turned her head to look directly at me and said: "If you keep looking at me like that I'll come out of my body."
My grandmother claimed to be over 500 years old ... and was the French mistress of the Duke of Bedford. Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford, was known to have had a number of illegitimate children ... and spent time in France.
I sometimes wonder who I am ... and who you lot are?
