In the event of enough of these poor people at their wits end moving into your street, I am confident that you would stamp your feet and even ‘ boo-boo’ l Why? Is there an embargo on people moving into and out of your street? There are a number of "for sale" signs up in our street and we have no idea as to who is moving in. Do you think there should be a selection process; weed out the undesirables?
No because they should be at the bottom of the chain, once all our homeless, and those on housing waiting lists for years are given properties, then and only then do we cater for the boat people. |

I'm not the who is either whinging or who appears to back the violence. 50,000 illegals crossed the channel from the safe EU state of France last year, the hotel bill which is being picked up by cash strapped British tax payers is currently £7 million a day that's not including mobile phones and pocket money. Reports say the Home Office are expecting 80,000 illegals to cross the channel this year. It's time for the kid gloves to come off. |

The issue is about governance and how we wish government to interact with society as a whole. We vote on a tribal basis; people generally don't want to understand issues and the complexities of them and when there are consequences they don't and can't understand why....Government as it is at the moment is unable to make any practical policy on the way borders are viewed or utilised or because of the legal framework it has allowed to exist. In most cases the legal framework trumps social desires. Why? Because Government panders to the tribal nature of politics and people so they vote for them which in this country means taking the center ground...the mummy dynamic. Based on your post you probably don't understand the consequences of that position....so...you may want to just scratch around with petty little soundbites which if that's all you're able to do is fine.... How long do media sources think they can suppress these stories, what sort of journalists and media reporters are they if we have to turn to Facebook sleuths to find out the real truth behind these stories, they are doing themselves no favours when we need to turn to Facebook to find out the facts. |
